We believe the modern man is proud to be multifaceted, knowing that identity is the sum of its components. FIELDS explores these facets through grouping them as:

  • Soul – encompassing contemplation, purity, connection, and integrity;
  • Art – including impactful work, creativity, and leadership and;
  • Outdoor – the tactile, the environment, physicality and nature play.

FIELDS is a contemporary menswear brand where all fibers are sourced within Southern Africa and all garments are manufactured in Cape Town.

Over 80% of the cotton we use is Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) compliant. Our Merino Wool is mulesing-free and Responsible Wool Standard certified, and our Mohair is able to be traced to its very source.

Our garments are comprised and manufactured with considered ethics and processes. At the forefront of our work, we aim to showcase the quality that our yarn and factory partners bring through their manufacturing.

Every season we collaborate with a few African artists who create a piece of work for us. We use that image to form the design of tote bags, knitwear, the lining of our jackets, and who knows what next…

These garments are produced in small batches and form part of our limited edition range. By exhibiting these artworks in unexpected ways, it enables the wearer to express themselves by living their lives in the art they so appreciate.
Founded on these principles by Mikael Hanan in 2018, the brand is constantly striving to learn and grow in areas of sustainably lead practices.

Find our flagship store at the Old Biscuit Mill, 375 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, 7915.
